The great red mulch experiment continues

I wish I had more exciting news to report out of my 2006 Garden Experiment. Oh, the tomato plants are robust and covered with flowers and fruit. They’re zooming up, nearly topping their 5-foot cages. And — so far, at least — I haven’t had to deal with a single one of those nasty hornworms.
